Terms & Conditions

I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth below with respect to my enrollment and participation in the program or workshop selected in my registration form (individual or plural, my “Program”):

My Responsibilities

I am responsible for showing up on time and promptly paying for my Program.

I am responsible for informing Melissa Goodman in writing of any concerns, physical or otherwise, at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the commencement of my Program, which information and of any physical discomfort immediately as it arises, if applicable, during my Program.

Fee

Online Programs:

Full payment is due prior to the commencement of my Program. If I have chosen a payment plan I am responsible for payments each month for the duration set out in the agreement.  Payment is collected via Stripe at: www.yourcoachmelissa.vipmembervault.com

All payments are final, non-refundable and non-transferable.

Healing Sessions/Packages:

Full payment is due prior to the commencement of my sessions.

If payment plan is selected, I understand that I will automatically be billed each month via Stripe for the duration of my package.

Healing Sessions

The time for my healing session is reserved for me.  I may cancel or reschedule my session only if I do so at least twenty-four hours prior to the time of my session.  I understand and agree that if I fail to cancel or reschedule my session within the noted time frame, that I will be charged the full of amount of my missed session and will be required to pay this fee in full at my next session,  If I purchased a group of sessions, the fee for the missed session will be automatically deducted from any remaining session(s) in my group package.

All healing session packages must be used within twelve (12) weeks of the date of purchase. 

Melissa Goodman reserves the right, at her sole discretion to cancel / reschedule a healing session due to illness, emergency or weather.  If a session is cancelled or rescheduled by Melissa Goodman, she will reschedule my session at a time that is agreed upon by both of us.  

Privacy

I have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth in the Website Privacy Policy located at: https://yourcoachmelissa.vipmemberavult.com/policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of my personal information.

Notice and Disclaimer

I understand that all documentation and material relating to the Program I enrolled in, whether presented before, during or after my Program (“Documentation”) is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights; the copyright in all such Documentation remains the property of their owners and may not be recorded, used or reproduced without the written permission of the copyright owner; and I agree not to do anything, at any time that would infringe the intellectual property rights in the Documentation.

I understand that the Documentation is provided “As-Is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, completeness, currency or usefulness of the Document’s content and warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or freedom from infringement of patent, trademark or copyright.

I understand that any use of the information in the Documentation is at my sole risk and expense, including any action taken on the basis of the information contained in the Documentation, that the Documentation is for general purposes only and it does not purport to be comprehensive or to render specific advice; and that no guarantees can be made of any results.

I understand that if any information or advice that may constitute financial, legal or medical advice is given at or in relation to my Program, such advice is not authorized by Melissa Goodman and does not constitute financial, legal or medical advice given by Melissa Goodman, and I also understand that participation in a wellness program or workshop is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.

Confidentiality

I understand that my information will be held in confidence and will not be shared with anyone else unless I provide my prior written consent or as otherwise required by law.

Governing Law

I understand and agree that these terms and conditions shall be construed and enforced in accordance with, and the rights of the parties shall be governed by, the laws of the Province of Ontario and irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

Release

I knowingly and voluntarily forever release, discharge and hold harmless Melissa Goodman and her heirs, representatives, successors and assigns, of and from all actions, causes of action, damages, claims and demands arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, out of or connected with my participation in the Program.  I acknowledge and agree that I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with the Program in which I participate.
